About Lora

After attending Pasadena City College as a Design major, she took a year off from school to save money for a life-changing, three-month solo trip to Europe. During this immersive experience, she immersed herself in European culture and documented the arts and architecture, which would play an essential role in her future design work. Upon returning, she enrolled in the renowned. She continued her education at  FIDM, (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising ) in Los Angeles, Lora's career took even before graduation. She was mentored by acclaimed industry professionals and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a successful Set Designer and Production Designer. Lora also made a foray into the Italian cycling industry, designing vibrant jerseys that were widely popular. In addition to her Hollywood work, Lora's design expertise expanded into hospitality, including notable projects at the Hollywood Palladium and the Bonaventure Hotel.
Lora successfully combined her interests in design, travel, and fine dining by co-owning and opening several acclaimed restaurants, including her personal favorite, Mozart's Bistro. This award-winning establishment, located in the Southern California mountains, featured a custom-designed setting blending modern and old-world styles with an authentic Austrian chalet aesthetic. Mozart's Bistro attracted a discerning clientele, including notable Hollywood figures, and provided an exceptional dining experience through its artful fusion of food, design, and Mozart-inspired music, becoming a sought-after destination. The restaurant's success led to further prestigious opportunities, such as hosting a televised New Year's Eve party for MTV and managing hospitality event venues for ESPN.
After moving to Northern California, Lora grew her thriving Interior Design business, designing multi-million dollar showcase homes across various regions, including an Italian villa, a Craftsman Mountain home, a French chateau, and a Hawaiian beach house for some of Chico's most affluent. Lora's design expertise and creative business ideas have led to unique opportunities and high-profile clients in commercial, residential, and hospitality design. She has collaborated with industry leaders, such as Coke a Cola, Halmark, Anne Klein and more, showcasing her creative and timeless work.

From 2013 to 2017, Lora helped spearhead weekly welfare visits to poor housing communities in Butte County. She collaborated with local food banks to deliver food to hundreds of low-income families and shut-in elderly. Lora's experience in design and hospitality has led her to use her gifts to put on special events for women in need. In 2013, she opened a beautiful, Refreshing Room for women coming out of human trafficking, and in 2015, she opened a women's shelter and food bank in Chico called The Blossom & Bloom House. In 2017, Lora became a Spiritual Support Volunteer (Chaplain) at Enloe Hospital, finding great joy in supporting people during their most vulnerable moments and being a compassionate presence in their lives.


Currently, one of Lora's projects is serving as a Co-Executive Producer for a movie called The Final Appointment. This year, Lora also launched the Forever A Queen, Miss Chico, and Miss Teen Chico programs. The Forever A Queen academy is for all young women in her community who may be interested in self-improvement.  The Forever A Queen Academy takes a holistic approach to empowering young women, focusing on inner beauty, etiquette, goal setting, community service, public speaking, posture, and poise, with the aim of helping them reach their full potential.
